Located at Shaffner Park on Yorkshire Rd off of Silas Creek Parkway

THIS CAMP IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE QUALITY INSTRUCTION IN A FUN ENVIRONMENT.  OUR GOAL IS TO ENCOURAGE EACH CAMPER TO ENJOY THE GAME AND TO IMPROVE THE SKILL NEEDED TO PLAY THE GAME AT THEIR HIGHEST LEVEL. 

Ages 5 and up

Camp Dates: July 14th thru the 18th :registration only available for this week only

Camp Costs:

$80.00 Half Day

$130.00 Full Day

The Winston-Salem Optimist Club

The Winston-Salem Optimist Club has been serving the youth of our community since 1948.  "Friend of Youth” is the club motto and guiding principle.  The club is a non-political, non-denominational civic club open to those who wish to serve the community...
 
In addition to sponsoring youth sports programs, the Optimist Club sponsors an oratorical contest for middle school students and an essay contest for high school students.  Winning these contest can result in a significant awards of scholarship monies.  For more information about these contests please click on the Oratorical or Essay Contest tabs located under "Club Info".
 
If you have an interest in encouraging and serving youth, membership in the Optimist Club may be for you.
